Arup will host a reception for delegates with an interest in carbon management, including those who are attending any of the seminars in the carbon management stream at the event. Attendees are invited to join the Arup team to discuss hot issues and continue networking in a more informal setting.
Networking Sessions

The Carbon Show 2011 hosted a series of dedicated networking sessions that enabled visitors to meet and connect with other business leaders and exhibitors from across the carbon finance, trading and management communities.
There was a dedicated networking hotspot on the show floor, in which visitors met colleagues, gained new contacts, viewed presentations and shared information.
The Carbon Show Networking Reception is the perfect platform for visitors and exhibitors to meet, socialise and network in a relaxed and informal environment at the end of the first day of the show. Featuring a drinks reception and canapes this event will be a must-attend for all exhibitors, visitors and guests.

ENDS Europe Breakfast Seminar
Room F
For the first time at The Carbon Show, ENDS Europe, Europe's leading environmental news and information service, will host a breakfast seminar dedicated to the issues surrounding the inclusion of international aviation into the EU ETS.
Join the ENDS Europe team and a panel of experts from the aviation industry, carbon market and policy world to address the following topic areas:
- What are the legal issues surrounding the expansion of the EU ETS?
- Will the US, Chinese and Indian governments carry through with their threats?
- What are the implications for the rest of the carbon market?
- Has the aviation debate dented hopes of further expansion into shipping and other sectors?
- How will the drama affect international climate negotiations?
This interactive session will provide timely legal and policy updates; explain the implications and challenges of regulating aviation emissions and provide an open forum for lively debate.
Attendees will also be eligible to receive a briefing paper prepared by ENDS Europe explaining the legal background and possible ramifications of the ETS expansion.
This breakfast is aimed at all those working within the aviation sector, and carbon policy and markets, plus NGOs, regulators, government representatives and those with a general business interest.
