Debbie is a Principal and the Carbon and Energy Management Practice Manager at ENVIRON. She is a Chartered Building Services Engineer, with 25 years’ experience of both technical and policy related issues related to energy and carbon management.

Debbie has worked extensively in the property, retail, government and hospitality sectors, undertaking projects to help companies set up Carbon Management processes. Debbie has undertaken hundreds of energy audits across all building types and is now focused on advising companies on their corporate carbon strategies including areas such as how to make the most of their CRC opportunities.

Debbie is currently the chair of the Central London Energy Managers Group (CLEMG) and is on CIBSE’s Energy Performance Group committee. She is an assessor for the Carbon Trust Standard, EPC assessor and a Carbon Trust accredited consultant for both existing buildings and new build advice. Debbie is also the Technical Programme Manager for two 5-year Carbon Trust programmes relating to Low Carbon Buildings both in terms of refurbishment (LCBA) and renewable technologies applied to new buildings (LCBP).
