Guy Turner heads up the New Carbon Finance division of the company, which was formed when NEF acquired his team and models from Enviros, a consulting company in May 2006. Guy has been providing advice on carbon markets to governments and companies for over eight years and is regarded as a leading expert in the field. Prior to specialising in emissions markets Guy provided policy and strategy advice across a range of environmental business sectors including renewable energy, waste management and water pollution.  Prior to joining New Energy Finance, Guy was Director of Climate Change Policy and Strategy at Enviros Consulting in the UK. Guy has led numerous consulting assignments advising high profile clients on investments in carbon markets.
