Karen Lawrence is Head of CRC and Consultancy at Local Energy.  Since joining the organisation in 2009, Karen has developed and delivered the flagship project, Carbon Trading Public Sector, helping more than one hundred public sector bodies to prepare for the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme. In 2011-12, Karen will lead the next phase of this project, Carbon Saving Public Sector, guiding participants through the changes to the CRC and the new opportunities presented by FITs, the RHI and Green Deal.

Previously, Karen was a Principal Sustainability Advisor at Forum for the Future and, prior to that, Policy Officer for environmental protection at LACORS.
