Nick has been involved in the carbon market since 2003. Originally working at BSI Management Systems, Nick helped set up the UK Emissions Trading System (ETS) by developing a market-leading emissions verification product which was then expanded at the start of the EU ETS in 2005. Since then, he has been working variously with ICECAP and as an independent consultant, developing CDM projects. Nick previously managed a portfolio of over 30 CDM projects and now is channelling finance into some of the newer mechanisms, including CDM Programmes of Activity.
