At The Carbon Show 2010 we were joined by visitors from across the UK and Europe, Canada, US, Japan and Australia. 75 exhibitors, 150 speakers and more than 1,700 participants from leading organisations in carbon management, trading and finance, took part in Europe’s leading event dedicated to reducing, managing and trading carbon.

The Carbon Show is the only event that covers the full life cycle of carbon, providing information on greenhouse gas emissions, renewable energy, the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme, green technology, carbon management and carbon finance.

We welcome you to join us to cover The Carbon Show this year. Our dedicated press centre will provide you with all the information you need and free Wi-Fi is available throughout the venue. To register for The Carbon Show 2011 as a member of the media, the following requirements must be met:

Print, Newswire Radio & TV Reporters

Journalists must provide the following documentation:

  1. Press ID with information of both the journalist and the media.
  2. A letter from an editor or producer of the editorial team of the company stating that you are covering the show on assignment for their news organisation.

Freelance reporters and photographers

  1. A letter from the publisher, editor or producer, on company letterhead, stating that you are covering the show on assignment for their news organisation.
  2. A recent piece of bylined work from the same publication.

On-line publications and blogs

  1. A link to a current page of your on-line publication with your name and title appearing in an editorial capacity.
  2. A recent bylined article from the same on-line publication.

If you do not belong to any of the above categories, then you will need to register as either a Visitor or contact  the Carbon Show press office. The final decision about press registration lies with the Carbon Show organisers.

To apply online for a press pass to The Carbon Show 2011 please follow these steps:

  1. Send an email to the press registration team press@thecarbonshow.com with the following information:
    • Full name
    • Media
    • Country
    • E-mail address
    • Attach documents (preferably in .pdf format) providing proof of your status as an active member of the media: either your press ID or bylined articles.
  2. Once your application has been reviewed and approved by the Carbon Show Press Office, you will receive an email with your registration code and a link to the online registration site.
  3. A confirmation message will be sent to your email address.
  4. On arrival at the event, you can use your fast track confirmation to collect your pass.
